Variations Editor

Variations

Edit listing variations across multiple listings at once. The Variations editor lets you manage variant types (like size and color), set per-variant pricing and inventory, and update SKUs — all in a grid layout.

How to use it

  1. Select Variations from the Inventory group in the sidebar.

  2. Each listing shows its current variation structure:

    • Variation types — The property axes (e.g., Size, Color) and their options

    • Variant grid — Each combination with its own price, quantity, and SKU

  3. Edit variant options, prices, quantities, and SKUs directly in the grid.

  4. Reorder variants by dragging rows.

  5. Use Find/Replace in the toolbar to update variant values across multiple listings.

  6. Click Publish Listings when ready.

Tips & gotchas

  • Each variant can have its own price ($0.20–$50,000), quantity (1–999), and SKU (32 characters).

  • You can map images to specific variant options — so selecting "Blue" shows the blue product photo.

  • Use Find/Replace to rename variant values across multiple listings at once (e.g., changing "Small" to "S" everywhere).

  • Listings without variations show simple price, quantity, and SKU fields. See Pricing for details.

  • Inventory auto-fixes: prices below minimum are clamped, zero quantities default to 1, and invalid states fall back to defaults.
