Descriptions

Edit the descriptions of multiple listings at once. The Description editor shows a text area for each listing with its current description.

How to use it

1. Select Description from the Listings group in the sidebar.

2. Each listing appears with its description in an editable text area.

3. Edit descriptions directly — changes are saved as drafts automatically.

4. Use the Find/Replace tool in the editor toolbar to search for and replace text across descriptions.

5. Use the AI sparkle button for AI-generated improvements — same operations as the Title editor.

6. Click Publish Listings when ready.

Tips & gotchas

• Descriptions have a 5,000 character limit.

• Including your listing tags in your description can improve SEO — the Listing Explorer's SEO score checks for this.

• Find/Replace is powerful for updating a brand name, policy text, or common phrase across all descriptions at once.

• Keep descriptions scannable with short paragraphs and clear sections so buyers find what they need quickly.
