Fulfilling Orders

Your listing sold — here’s what happens next, and the one step some shops still do by hand.

How an order flows

1. Buyer orders on Etsy — the sale lands like any other Etsy order.

2. ListingView picks it up — the order appears on your Orders page, already matched to its POD product.

3. It routes to your production partner — they print and ship it under your brand.

4. Tracking returns to Etsy — the buyer gets shipping updates on their Etsy order.

Automated or manual? A quick check

Etsy shares the buyer’s shipping address automatically for some shops but not others. The tell is your Orders page: if new orders arrive with the shipping address already filled in, your shop is fully automated — orders route and tracking posts back without you touching anything. If an order arrives without an address, it’s waiting on you, and fulfillment pauses until you add it. Automated fulfillment for every shop is coming eventually — it isn’t out just yet, so until then some shops do these steps by hand.

Adding an address by hand

1. Copy the address from Etsy — in Shop Manager → Orders & Delivery, open the order and copy the buyer’s full shipping address.

2. Paste it into ListingView — open the order on your Orders page and paste the address in.

3. Submit — ListingView sends the order to your production partner from there.

Getting tracking back to Etsy

When your partner ships, grab the tracking number from the order in ListingView (or your Printify dashboard) and add it on Etsy: Shop Manager → Orders & Delivery → Complete order. Etsy notifies the buyer, and your shop’s processing-time stats stay clean.

If your shop is in the automated group, skip this — tracking posts back on its own.
