Per-Listing Overrides
Your global PDF settings apply to every listing by default. Per-listing overrides let you customize specific fields for individual listings — a different thank-you message, a targeted coupon code, or a unique logo — without touching your global defaults.

How to set an override
Open the Listing Optimizer and select the listing you want to customize
Navigate to the PDF delivery panel within the listing editor
Edit any overridable field — the field label highlights in the accent color to show it differs from the global value
Changes auto-save after a brief delay, just like global settings
How overrides work
Empty field = inherit global — If you leave an override field empty, the listing uses whatever value is set in your global PDF settings.
Highlighted labels — When an override is active, the field label is highlighted so you can tell at a glance which values differ from your defaults.
Images work the same way — Upload a listing-specific logo or banner to override the global image. Remove it to fall back to the global image.
Previewing overrides
Use the Preview tab in the listing's PDF delivery panel to see exactly what a buyer of that specific listing receives. The preview merges your global settings with any active overrides.
Resetting to global defaults
Clear the field completely — delete all text so it's empty
Wait for auto-save to complete
The listing will now use the global value for that field
For images, click Remove to delete the per-listing image and revert to the global logo or banner.
Tips & best practices
Start with strong global settings, then override only where needed.
Use overrides to add listing-specific coupon codes to track which products drive repeat purchases.
Override the PDF title with a custom message for premium or bundled products.
Preview each overridden listing at least once to catch unexpected interactions.
Common questions
Can I override colors or fonts for a specific listing?
No. Colors, fonts, button styling, and social link URLs are global-only settings.
How do I know which listings have overrides?
Open a listing in the Listing Optimizer and check the PDF delivery panel. Fields with active overrides have highlighted labels.
What happens if I change a global setting — do overrides get affected?
No. Override fields are independent of global settings.
Can I copy overrides from one listing to another?
Not directly. Set overrides manually on each listing, or consider making common content your global default.
